People Advisor Central Nottingham - Onsite with ad-hoc WFH Permanent & Full Time Up to £35,000 SF Recruitment are exclusively supporting our client for a proactive and approachable People Advisor to provide trusted HR guidance and support across our site. This is a hands-on, varied generalist role supporting managers and employees on all aspects of the people experience, from employee relations and recruitment to wellbeing and engagement initiatives. You'll play a key part in creating a positive, compliant and people-first workplace culture. What You'll Be Doing: - People Services & Advisory - Act as the first point of contact for all generalist HR queries, offering solution-focused advice aligned with employment law and best practice - Recruitment & Selection - Support managers through the full recruitment process - Employee Relations - Advise on performance, conduct, absence and other ER matters, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes & Coach managers in effective people management and conflict resolution - HR Systems & Reporting - Act as a superuser, maintaining accurate records across the employee lifecycle & produce people data and KPI reports to support decision-making & work closely with Payroll to ensure seamless HR and pay processes. - Learning & Development - Coordinate and deliver management training on key people topics such as recruitment, performance, and employee relations & Manage training requests, sourcing relevant development opportunities & Support the performance management cycle to ensure timely completion and meaningful outcomes. - Compliance & Governance - Maintain GDPR compliance and ensure accurate HR record-keeping & Support policy review and development in line with best practice and legislation - Wellbeing - Coordinate occupational health referrals and wider wellbeing initiatives & Organise health and wellbeing events to foster a positive workplace culture. - Projects - Collaborate on People and Culture projects and initiatives aimed at boosting engagement and continuous improvement What You'll Bring: - CIPD Level 3 (or above) - Previous experience in a generalist HR/People role in a fast-paced environment - Strong background in employee relations and absence management - Confident using HRIS systems - Experience working within a unionised or manufacturing environment beneficial Please apply with your CV if you are interested in hearing more
