Engineering Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for Site Serviuce Supervisor for our client in BS27 JOB PURPOSE: To provide supervision of site engineers, overseeing projects and maintaining safety protocols and implementing site processes. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: * Main point of contact for any site related issues that engineers are experiencing. * Supervision of site engineers to include quality monitoring and performance management. * Inform Site Service Manager when parts and materials are in for jobs so that these can be booked in. * Source and order spares for jobs as required. * Costing of jobs. * Provide cover for Site Service Manager as and when required. * Provide input for preparation of risk assessments and method statements. * Complete daily timesheets and ensure they are handed in as per procedure. * To be available for call out shift or overtime as directed by the Site Service Manager. * Assess training needs and provide relevant training and coaching where necessary. * Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Company. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * Proven experience in engineering/manufacturing background. * Mechanical and Electrical knowledge. * Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE. * Excellent people management skills. * Concise communication skills. * Willingness to work outside of normal working hours. * Customer and engineer focussed. * Solution focusses with great problem solving skills. * Proficient computer skills
