Workshop Engineer

We are currently recruiting a Workshop Engineer for our client in BS27. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: * Undertakes repair of electric motors, pumps and gearboxes. * Ensures deadlines are met to meet with customer expectation. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as and when needed. * Overhauling a wide variety of pumps, motors, gearboxes. * Carry out mechanical maintenance, repairs, and assembly of pumps and other related rotating equipment. * Fault-finding on break down equipment. * Adherence to Health and Safety protocol. * Complete workshop documentation and pass to Workshop Supervisor or Manager. * Keeps a clean and tidy work area. * To be available for call out shift or overtime as directed by the Workshop Supervisor or Manager. * Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Workshop Supervisor or Manager. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * Proven experience within electrical motors, pumps and gearboxes. * Computer skills required to basic level. * Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE. * Team player. * Excellent communication skills. * Willingness to work outside of normal working hours. * Good time keeping skills are essential
