Environmental Site Auditor Various Locations - Thames Valley (Hybrid) Salary - up to £55k plus benefits We’re working with a leading utilities provider dedicated to building a more resilient and sustainable future for millions of customers. As an Environmental Site Auditor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring environmental compliance, supporting operational teams, and driving continuous improvement across vital infrastructure sites. What you’ll be doing Conduct site environmental and permit compliance audits across a range of operational assets, including treatment works, pumping stations, and waste facilities. Support operational teams by providing training and guidance on Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements. Prepare and deliver clear, concise audit reports and action plans for operational managers. Highlight non-compliances and work collaboratively to ensure timely resolution. Track and report on audit progress, risks, and key findings within your region. Assist teams with preparation for external and regulatory audits.What we’re looking for Essential: Strong understanding of environmental legislation and permit compliance. Knowledge of wastewater pumping and treatment processes. Confident IT skills, particularly Microsoft 365. Excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing. Awareness of Health & Safety requirements for operational sites.Desirable: Experience working with front-line operational teams in utilities or environmental sectors. Background in ISO-accredited management systems. Experience engaging with regulators on operational matters. Familiarity with sludge treatment processes or pollution prevention control. Qualification in an environmental or science-related discipline.
