Customer Service Advisor Location: Membury, Hungerford Salary: £25,396 – £26,728 per annum (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week) Contract: Permanent, full-time We’re recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join a busy distribution site based in Membury. This is a full-time position within an established and supportive team, ideal for someone with strong communication skills and a background in administration or customer service. Benefits: 22 days holiday plus bank holidays Company bonus scheme Pension plan Cycle to work scheme Employee assistance programme Eyecare scheme and retail discounts Free on-site parking Full training and ongoing support Key Responsibilities: Handle inbound calls and process customer orders Complete daily stock reconciliation and balance receipts with sales Record and account for product movements accurately Take payments over the phone and process group orders Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth communication Update systems and transfer tickets between depots when needed Provide cover for colleagues and assist with other office duties when required Work one Saturday morning on a rota basis (overtime paid) About You: Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role Confident handling inbound calls and assisting customers professionally Good Excel and general IT skills Highly organised with strong attention to detail Able to work well under pressure and manage your own workload Awareness of data protection principles A positive, team-focused attitude If you’re a motivated and reliable individual looking to join a friendly, professional team in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you
