Interim Senior Development Manager (PO9) Location: London (Hybrid) Contract: Interim | Competitive day rate An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Development Manager to take the lead on major regeneration and development projects that deliver new homes, employment space, and community infrastructure across a busy London borough. You’ll be responsible for driving forward a diverse portfolio of complex mixed-use schemes — from early feasibility and investment approval through to procurement, planning, and delivery — ensuring each project achieves strong commercial outcomes and measurable social value. Key responsibilities: Lead the development and delivery of major regeneration and housing projects. Manage multidisciplinary teams and external consultants to achieve programme objectives. Oversee financial viability appraisals, risk management, and project governance. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with developers, housing associations, and other stakeholders. Ensure projects align with corporate priorities for housing growth, sustainability, and community benefit.About you: Proven track record in managing complex property development or regeneration projects. Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience of public-sector development processes. Skilled in land assembly, partnership working, and stakeholder engagement. Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to influence at senior levels.
