Job Title: CNC Department Supervisor Location: Leicestershire (commutable from surrounding areas) Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + overtime Hours: Day shift Benefits: Free on-site parking Cycle to work scheme Company events Centrally located with good transport links Permanent position Overtime available About the Company Our client is a specialist manufacturer of high-end bespoke joinery projects for residential and commercial clients across the UK. The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CNC Department Supervisor to join the business due to continued growth. You will oversee CNC operations within the joinery workshop, ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee CNC machining of parts according to production schedules and specification Plan and organise jobs by reviewing work orders, drawings, materials, and tooling requirements Analyse drawings and blueprints to calculate dimensions, select tools, and set appropriate machine speeds and feeds Use precision measuring instruments, including micrometres and callipers, to inspect work Ensure CNC programmes meet production requirements and quality standards Review systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement Maintain adherence to ISO quality and environmental management processes Ensure Health and Safety standards are maintained within the CNC department Support the Production Manager and Planner with other duties as requiredAbout You Experienced in setting and operating CNC routers within a joinery or manufacturing environment Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications Previous experience leading or supervising a team Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to quality How to Apply To apply for the CNC Department Supervisor position, click Apply Now and upload your CV.
