Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Asbestos Surveyor to join the team based in Basildon, Essex. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing asbestos-containing materials across a wide range of sites, ensuring compliance with current legislation and industry standards. The position requires accuracy, professionalism, and strong communication skills to maintain the company's excellent service record. Key Responsibilities Conduct Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition surveys in line with HSG264 guidance Identify and assess asbestos-containing materials accurately and efficiently Produce clear, detailed, and compliant survey reports Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and colleagues Manage workloads and meet project deadlines while maintaining high quality standards Keep up to date with all relevant asbestos regulations, HSE guidance, and best practice proceduresRequirements BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent) Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS-accredited organisation Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Full UK driving licence
