Health & Safety Lead – Birmingham Contract: £600/day | Permanent: £70,000 We’re looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional to lead H&S strategy across fleet, waste management, grounds maintenance, and street cleansing. This is a high-impact role, perfect for someone passionate about embedding a culture of safety excellence and driving strategic change. What you’ll do: * Lead and develop the Health & Safety strategy across multiple operational areas. * Embed a strong culture of safety excellence throughout the organisation. * Drive strategic initiatives that improve safety performance and compliance. * Provide expert advice and support to operational teams. What we’re looking for: * Background in waste management, facilities management, or local government. * IOSH/CMIOSH chartered membership or equivalent. * Proven experience driving H&S improvements and leading teams. * Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
