Senior Care Assistant (Days) – Ilfracombe Pay: Competitive rates starting from £13.50 per hour Contract: 36 hours per week Shifts: 8:00am–8:00pm, 8:00am–2:00pm, and 2:00pm–8:00pm (varied shift pattern) Setting: Small, privately owned residential home specialising in elderly care About Us We are a small, well-established residential care home in Ilfracombe, privately owned and known for delivering compassionate, person-centred care for elderly residents. The Role We’re seeking an experienced and confident Senior Care Assistant to join our team. You’ll play a key role in leading shifts, supporting junior staff, and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained throughout the day. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced carer looking to take on more responsibility within a friendly, supportive home environment. About You Previous experience in a Senior Carer or Team Leader role within a care home or similar setting. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable Confident in administering medication and maintaining accurate records. Strong understanding of CQC regulations and best practice in elderly care. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
