Civils Gang – Durham Project Location: Durham Contract Type: Job-by-job, potential for full-time Start Date: Immediate About Us: We install high-pressure sprinkler mains for commercial properties, including new builds and retrofits. Our work includes civils, pipework installation, and pump house construction. Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced civils gang to support an upcoming project in Durham. This role will involve trench excavation, reinstatement, bulk excavation for water tanks and pump houses, and concreting/steel fixing works. Requirements: * Own transport if non-local * CPCS tickets for excavator (above/below 10t), dumper, roller, telehandler * Foreman with minimum 10 years’ experience (NPORS considered if equivalent experience) * Experience with shuttering, steel fixing, concreting, brick-built pump houses * Ability to work safely and efficiently on commercial sites Responsibilities: * Excavation and reinstatement of trenches * Bulk excavation for water tanks and pump house bases * Installation of shuttering, steel fixing, and concrete bases * Construct brick-built pump houses if required * Assist with pipework installation where necessary What We Offer: * Job-by-job work with competitive rates * Opportunity for progression to full-time employment and site management
