Customer Service / Bookings Clerk (with Sales & Retention Focus) This is a FULL TIME office-based role MONDAY - FRIDAY 8.30am - 5.00pm (OccasionalSaturdays) Based in PUDSEY LS28 About Us: Leeds Junk & Rubbish is a growing, friendly, and fast-paced business based near Pudsey, and we’re looking for a proactive and reliable team member to join our Leeds Junk & Rubbish team as a Customer Service & Retentions Advisor. This is a key role in our team, where you’ll take real responsibility and grow alongside the business. You’ll need to be mature, organised, and switched on—but also fun, personable, and a real team player. Role Overview: As part of our bookings and customer care team, you’ll be the first point of contact for new and existing customers—helping them with enquiries, bookings, and quotes, while also supporting our sales and customer retention efforts to keep customers coming back. What You’ll Be Doing: * Handling bookings and customer enquiries via phone, email, and social media * Entering and managing jobs using our internal system * Providing accurate and competitive quotes to new and existing customers * Following up on leads and quotes to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings * Promoting additional services to maximise sales opportunities * Making customer satisfaction callbacks to ensure a great experience and encourage repeat business * Building strong relationships with customers to drive loyalty and retention * Supporting the wider team with admin, coordination, and process improvement tasks What We’re Looking For: * Excellent English and communication skills (written and verbal) * Friendly, confident, and persuasive phone manner * Experience in sales and customer retention * Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities * Proficiency with booking systems and basic office software (Email, Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM tools) * Creative approach to problem-solving and process improvement * Dependable, hardworking, and a strong team player * Ability to work to deadlines and achieve KPIs What We Offer: - 20 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays - Bonus Structure - Opportunity for professional growth within a fast-growing company - Comprehensive training and ongoing support - Onsite parking - Company team events
