SEND Teaching Assistant We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to support children and young people aged between 7 and 19 years in specialised settings with their overall learning development at a well-established SEND school in Uxbridge. Location: Uxbridge Hours: Full-time, part time Monday to Friday (Term time only) Start Date: ASAP Salary: Paid to scale About the Role: As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEND or additional needs. Your role will be vital in helping pupils reach their full potential whilst creating a safe learning environment supporting their overall wellbeing Key Responsibilities: * Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons * Supporting individual pupils, including those with additional needs * Helping to manage classroom behaviour * Preparing resources and classroom displays * Promoting a positive learning environment The Ideal Candidate: * Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools (essential) * Previous experience working with children (in a school or similar setting) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * A genuine passion for education and helping children thrive * Experience supporting SEND needs on a 1:1 basis How to Apply: Respond with your CV and we will be in touch
