AV Event Technician

Role Purpose The AV Event Technician will be responsible for supporting Events with all aspects of LED screens and Production, Lighting and Sound, it’s a skilled position and we are looking for someone with a solid background within the AV and Events industry. Involves equipment build and support for the delivery of live content solutions at a number of large-scale events. Primarily focusing on the delivery of Video services with a broad understanding of all technical requirements and disciplines relating to AV within Events live content Industry. 🎥 AV Event Technician 💷 Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 (DOE) 📍 Based in the UK with travel across the UK & worldwide 🕒 10-day fortnight | Laptop & mobile provided We’re looking for a skilled AV Event Technician with hands-on experience in LED screens, video, lighting, and sound to support live events of all sizes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about live production and delivering exceptional event experiences. What you’ll do: * Rig, operate, and de-rig audio, video, and LED systems * Deliver video and live content solutions at large-scale events * Operate media servers (Resolume, Millumin, QLab) * Lead and support event technicians and crews * Provide on-site technical support and pre-event preparation * Liaise with clients to ensure high-quality AV delivery What we’re looking for: * Proven background in AV and live events * Knowledge of LED & Novastar processing, video switchers, and signal distribution * Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills * Flexible approach – happy to work evenings, weekends, and travel * Full UK driving licence If you’re passionate about live events, technology, and delivering outstanding productions — we’d love to hear from you
