SEN Teaching Assistant Supporting a Complex SEN Child in Year 4 with ASD Key Details: Location: Havering Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Term Time Only Pay: £90+ per day (PAYE) Start Date: Monday 3rd November Access: On-site car park, easily accessible via Elizabeth Line or local bus routesAbout the Role Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a large and inclusive primary school in Havering. This rewarding position involves supporting a Year 4 pupil with complex Special Educational Needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and communication and language difficulties. Experience with PECS is essential, alongside a patient, nurturing approach and the ability to maintain firm and consistent boundaries. We are looking for someone who: Has proven SEN experience, particularly with ASD and communication and language needs Can work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals Demonstrates commitment, reliability, and a passion for supporting children's development and SENTo work in schools through Tradewind, you will need: An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Right to work in the UK Recent, relevant references covering the last two years A CV of employment, with explanations for any gaps Evidence of qualifications or relevant training (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3 or SEN experience)Why Work with Tradewind Recruitment?
