About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our school. The successful candidate will support pupils with a range of additional support needs, delivering tailored lessons and interventions that promote learning, independence, and wellbeing. Essential Qualifications and Requirements * A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., BEd, PGDE) with experience or specialism in SEN. * Full registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS). * Experience teaching pupils with a variety of additional support needs (e.g., learning difficulties, ASD, ADHD, or social, emotional, and behavioural needs). * Strong understanding of Curriculum for Excellence and differentiated teaching strategies. * Excellent communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills. * Commitment to inclusive practice and promoting participation from all learners. Desirable * Specialist SEN qualifications (e.g., Additional Support Needs (ASN) endorsements). * Experience with Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) or coordinated support plans. * Knowledge of assistive technology and alternative communication methods.
