We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an HR Adviser to join a leading organisation and provide proactive support across HR functions in both England and Scotland. This is a 6 month FTC, withthe possibility to be extended. This role is ideal for an individual looking to make an impact by providing guidance on HR processes and supporting the wider HR team with employee relations, recruitment, workforce development, and policy implementation. As an HR Adviser, you will play a key part in helping to shape the organisation’s people strategy and contribute to its ongoing success. Key Responsibilities * Provide day-to-day HR support to managers and employees on a wide range of HR issues, including absence management, performance, and disciplinary matters. * Assist with the management of employee relations cases, offering guidance and ensuring fair and consistent practices are followed. * Support managers with the recruitment process, from job advertising and shortlisting to interview coordination and candidate selection. * Advise on HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with legal requirements and best practice. * Assist with the implementation of learning and development initiatives, ensuring that employees receive the appropriate training to support their career development. * Maintain accurate training records and support the delivery of internal training sessions. * Work alongside HR colleagues to monitor and assess training needs across the organisation and recommend appropriate interventions. * Maintain and update HR records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations. * Assist in the review and update of HR policies, ensuring they reflect organisational priorities and legislative changes. * Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives, including onboarding, employee engagement, and wellbeing activities. * Support the wider HR team with general administrative tasks, including reporting, document preparation, and employee communications. * Contribute to HR initiatives designed to enhance employee engagement and retention across the business. * Stay up to date with HR best practices and employment law, providing advice and ensuring compliance across the organisation. Person Specification * CIPD Level 5 or equivalent relevant experience preferred. * Experience in a similar HR Adviser or HR Assistant role, ideally within a multi-site organisation * Strong experience in employee relations, recruitment support, and providing HR advice to managers. * Demonstrable experience in managing HR administration and maintaining accurate employee records. * Ability to support the delivery of HR projects, initiatives, and workforce development plans. Skills & Knowledge: * Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with others. * Proficiency in HR systems and data reporting. * Occasional travel to services throughout England and Scotland may be required.
