Asbestos Surveyor - Burnley

bout the Role We are looking for a qualified and motivated Asbestos Surveyor to join our growing environmental consultancy. The successful candidate will carry out a range of asbestos surveys across domestic, commercial, and industrial sites in accordance with current regulations and company procedures. Key Responsibilities * Conduct Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in line with HSG264. * Collect bulk samples and ensure accurate documentation of findings. * Produce clear, high-quality survey reports using company software. * Comply with all health & safety procedures, including the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. * Liaise with clients and colleagues to deliver efficient and professional service. Essential Requirements * BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent). * Minimum 1 year’s experience in asbestos surveying. * Full UK driving licence. * Strong attention to detail and report-writing skills. * Excellent communication and organisational abilities. Desirable * Additional BOHS qualifications (e.g., P403/P404). * Experience working with UKAS-accredited laboratories. * Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental management systems.
