Our cleint is seeking a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead on commercial management, cost control, and contract administration across multi-disciplinary projects playing a pivotal role in project delivery and profitability. Your duties and responsibilities will be As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of commercial activities across major construction projects, ensuring accurate financial management, compliance, and proactive cost control. Your main duties will include: Managing month-end Auto-WIP and journal returns. Coordinating AFC and internal rolling forecasts. Providing financial data for monthly project and board reports. Reviewing early warning notifications and managing client communications. Liaising with clients on compensation events, payment allocations, and disallowed items. Conducting cost analysis via SAP and Power BI. Supporting project managers in the preparation of Project Board Reports. Calculating BOQ star rates and performing remeasurements. Maintaining commercial registers (CE, EW, Plant, Sales Invoices, etc.). Drafting notifications and contractual correspondence. Overseeing subcontract management and performance tracking. Managing change control including notification, quotation, and agreement of compensation events. Leading value analysis, including schedule of rates, fixed price, and daywork activities. Preparing payment applications and invoices. Driving innovation to improve cost efficiency and project margins. You will have the following qualifications and experience  Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on major construction projects within a highly regulated industry (e.g., nuclear, energy, or infrastructure). Strong working knowledge of NEC4 Option B contracts. Understanding of the NAECI Agreement. Proficiency in Standard Method of Measurement (SMM). Working knowledge of Primavera P6. Experience using SAP and Power BI for cost and data analysis. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
