Pharmacy Technician – Band 5 -          Location: Essex -          Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:15 pm -          Start Date: ASAP -          Contract Duration: Ongoing -          Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite Only -          Rate: £18.00 - £30.00/hour (Dependant on experience)  Job Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to support a busy Acute Hospital. This is a patient facing, ongoing role, offering the opportunity to contribute to patient care across both, outpatient and inpatient pharmacy areas. This is a hands on – clinical role requiring a thorough individual, with excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Dispense and accuracy-check prescriptions Support accurate medication history taking Liaise with nurses and doctors regarding discrepancies with patients’ medication to improve patient care   Provide Counselling and complex medication advise to patients and other health care professional   Work as part of the wider multidisciplinary team Ensure legal and professional standards are met in dispensing and supply Essential Requirements: GPhC Registration Previous experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting Great communication skills Why Work With Us: Supportive compliance and payroll team Opportunity to work in a dynamic multidisciplinary NHS Environment Dedicated Recruiters Interested?
