Commercial Analyst

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to join at a pivotal stage in their journey and play a key role in driving performance and strategic development. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance and working closely with the CFO, this position will play a central role in delivering insight, supporting decision-making, and shaping the strategic direction of the business. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoy working cross-functionally with senior stakeholders across finance, trading, and commercial teams. Act as a commercial business partner, providing regular and ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support performance optimisation. Develop and enhance systems, tools, and reporting processes to automate data and improve decision-making. Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning, providing robust insight to guide strategic planning. Manage and deliver key commercial finance projects in line with operational and strategic priorities. Support strategic initiatives such as M&A, business development, and new market entry through financial modelling and board-level reporting. You will have a strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic insight. Advanced Excel skills essential; experience with Power BI, Epicor (or similar ERP), SQL, and/or Python is highly advantageous.
