Senior Quantity Surveyor (Highways)

Our client, operating within the highways sector, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team on a 6 month contract (Inside IR35) - potential extension/chance of permanenet employment in the near future. Key Responsibilities: Managing sub-contracts and overseeing change management processes Working with NEC3 Option A and Option B contracts, including closing out accounts Collaborating with the Commercial Manager and other team members to ensure project objectives are met Conducting cost analysis, forecasting, and budgeting for the project Ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions Maintaining accurate records and preparing detailed reports Providing support and advice on commercial matters Job Requirements: Experience in quantity surveying, preferably at a senior level Strong knowledge of highways, bridges, and local road bridge projects Proficiency in sub-contract management and change management Familiarity with NEC3 contracts, particularly Option A and Option B Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work both on-site (4 days) and from home (1 day) Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying or a related field Benefits: Competitive daily rate (Inside IR35) Opportunity to work on a significant highway project Potential for permanent position in the new year Professional development and training opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment If you are a qualified Quantity Surveyor looking for a temporary role with the potential for a permanent position/contract extensions, we encourage you to apply
