Shipping Administrator Location: Leeds (Office-based) Salary: £28,000 per annum (depending on experience) Permanent – Full-time We’re seeking a detail-driven Shipping Administrator to join a busy, fast-paced team within a well-established manufacturing company. This is a hands-on, administrative role that requires excellent attention to detail and experience coordinating both UK and international shipments. You’ll ensure all export documentation is accurate, goods are dispatched efficiently, and deliveries arrive on time - all while maintaining strong communication between internal teams, shipping partners, and customers. Experience with Incoterms, Letters of Credit, and expediting shipments is essential, as is confidence handling multiple priorities in a structured, process-led environment. Key Responsibilities: * Coordinate and manage export and domestic shipments from order through to delivery. * Prepare and verify all shipping and export documentation. * Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customers to ensure smooth delivery. * Track and expedite shipments, resolving delays or issues promptly. * Support import activities including customs clearance and site delivery. * Monitor costs, negotiate rates, and identify efficiency opportunities. About You: * Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or export administration. * Strong understanding of Incoterms and international trade requirements. * Skilled in documentation, compliance, and ERP systems. * Excellent communication and organisation skills. * Able to thrive in a busy, fast-moving environment.
