Junior CAD Technician 12 month contract with possibility of extension) Based in London, UK Industry working in Engineering / Construction / Architecture Day rate of £(Apply online only) per shift  About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior CAD Technician to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for design and drafting to gain hands-on experience working on a range of infrastructure and construction projects. You'll work closely with our engineering and design teams to produce high-quality CAD drawings and support the delivery of ongoing projects across various sectors. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD (and/or Revit, Civil 3D, etc.). Update and revise existing drawings based on feedback and design changes. Maintain drawing records and ensure all work complies with company standards and procedures. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to meet project requirements and deadlines. Support the development of technical documentation and drawing registers. Ensure accurate file management and version control of CAD files. Requirements: A relevant qualification in CAD, Engineering, Construction, or a related field (e.g., HNC, BTEC, or equivalent). Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D, or MicroStation is an advantage. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate technical drawings. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
