Technical Machine Operator £35,000 to £38,000 Our client has a great new opportunity for a Technical Machine Operator due to internal progression. Main Duties for the Technical Machine Operator: * Machine Operation, preparing materials for the process, including loading sheets or rolls of paper or card into the machine. * Maintaining strict quality standards by continuously monitoring the process, adjusting as needed to ensure accurate and consistent results. * Participate in routine cleaning and maintenance tasks for the machinery to ensure proper functioning and minimise downtime. * Identify and address any technical issues or malfunctions during the production process, escalating complex problems to Management. * Collaborate closely with other team members, including operatives and quality control, to meet production targets and address any production challenges. Skills required for the Technical Machine Operator: * Previous experience in a manufacturing operation or a related field is advantageous. * Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to machinery setup processes. * Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify and correct any issues that may affect production quality. * Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. * Basic knowledge of Health & Safety procedures in a manufacturing environment. * Used to working a shift pattern.
