Finance Business Partner Engineering/Manufacturing | Rapid growth | High impact Help a fast-scaling Engineering/Manufacturing business turn data into decisive action. As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll be the go-to commercial voice in the room—building tools and insight that sharpen decision-making, accelerate growth, and keep programmes on track. You’ll sit shoulder-to-shoulder with leaders in Operations, HR, Sales and Programmes to shape plans, challenge assumptions, and deliver results. What you’ll be doing * Own robust FP&A: build models, track performance vs budget/forecast, and surface risks & opportunities with clarity. * Lead the annual budget and quarterly re-forecast cycles; keep the live group forecast current and credible. * Partner with HR to prepare and communicate labour & headcount analysis (Actuals vs Budget/Forecast). * Create smart, scalable reporting—Power BI dashboards and Excel tools that give stakeholders the KPIs they need at a glance. * Work with Sales & Programme teams to drive revenue milestones and support programme/business reviews with timely insight. * Champion continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and reporting. What you’ll bring * Degree-level education and/or a professional qualification/training (ACA/ACCA/MBA/CFA etc.). * Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner (ideally within engineering or a similar product/manufacturing environment). * Advanced Excel and strong Power BI skills; confident with planning/analysis tools. * A self-starter mindset—comfortable influencing cross-functional stakeholders and explaining complex financials to non-finance colleagues. * Calm under pressure, great communicator, collaborative and outcomes-focused.
