Teaching Assistant - Walkden-Salford As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, Prospero Teaching are looking for a reliable, confident and positive Teaching Assistant to support a local primary school in Chester. The successful applicant will have experience supporting teaching and learning across KS1 or KS2 and a genuine passion for working with children. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS * Location - Walkden-Salford * Position - Teaching Assistant * Type of work - Classroom support / 1:1 and small group interventions * Start date - As soon as possible * Contract type - Temporary * Full time/part time - Full time * Minimum rate of pay - £90 - £100 per day * Hours - 8:30am to 3:30pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS * Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable) * Previous experience supporting children in a UK school * Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: * Hold Right to Work in the UK * Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application * Provide two professional references
