Electrical Installer – Security Systems (Intruder Alarms, CCTV & Access Control) Location: Field-based across The Midlands and surrounding areas Reports to: Operations Director Package: £28,000-£30,000 + company vehicle + Benefits About the Role Due to continued business growth, our client is looking for a skilled Electrical Installer with experience in security systems to join their team. This is a hands-on role focused on the installation, commissioning, and servicing of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems across domestic, commercial, and industrial sites. You’ll be working independently on-site, delivering high-quality installations and ensuring systems are fully operational and compliant. Key Responsibilities * Attend scheduled appointments at customer sites * Install and commission Intruder Alarms, CCTV (IP & analogue), and Access Control systems * Diagnose and resolve system faults and performance issues * Communicate clearly with customers about work carried out and any additional requirements * Identify opportunities for system upgrades or enhancements * Maintain a clean and professional work environment on-site * Participate in out-of-hours standby rota as required Additional Duties * Maintain and service installed systems * Assist with stock control and equipment management * Stay up to date with industry developments and regulations * Attend training sessions and toolbox talks * Support the wider team with related tasks as needed What We’re Looking For * Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical installation, within the security systems sector * ECS/CSCS card and basic Health & Safety knowledge * Emergency First Aid at Work certification * Familiarity with British Standards for installation and maintenance * Strong working knowledge of Honeywell Galaxy and Texecom systems * Full UK driving licence * Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Professional, customer-focused attitude with high standards of workmanship Benefits Package * Company vehicle and fuel card * Mobile phone * Pension contributions * Option for private healthcare * Birthday day off * 22 days holiday + bank holidays If you are interested in applying for this role, please contact Jack Cooke at Redwood Search
