Accountant Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire (3 days in office, 2 days remote) Are you a newly qualified accountant looking to take the next step in your career? This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking accountancy practice that blends traditional compliance with modern advisory services. The Role You’ll join a supportive team structure, working alongside bookkeepers, technicians, and senior accountants to deliver a full range of accounting and advisory services to a portfolio of SME clients. Your work will include: * Preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns and VAT returns * Reviewing and supporting junior staff * Delivering management reporting and financial insights to clients * Advising clients on compliance and business planning About You We’re looking for someone who is: * Qualified (ACCA, ICAEW, or CIMA) – newly qualified welcome * Experienced with at least 2 years in UK practice (industry-only experience not considered) * Client-facing, with strong communication skills * Technically sound in compliance and statutory accounting * Familiar with Xero (preferred, but training will be provided) What’s on Offer * Hybrid working model (up to 2 days remote per week) * Free on-site parking and excellent public transport links (close to Didcot Parkway station) * Supportive, collaborative team environment with growth opportunities * Be part of a modern, sustainable practice with a focus on people, profit and planet If you’re looking for a role where you can develop your skills, work with a variety of clients, and be part of a growing, forward-thinking practice, we’d love to hear from you
