Site Engineer – Fawley (SO45) | Long-Term Contract | Major Industrial Project Location: Fawley, Hampshire (SO45) Rate: Competitive Day Rate (CIS / LTD / PAYE options) Contract: Long-Term (12+ Months) Start Date: Immediate Sector: Civil Engineering / Industrial / Infrastructure The Role: We're recruiting for a reliable and experienced Site Engineer to support our client on a major industrial project in Fawley. This is a long-term opportunity on a live, high-value site with excellent prospects for continuity and progression. The successful engineer will have a strong background in setting out, QA, and working across civils or industrial packages, ideally in a live plant or similar environment. Key Responsibilities: * Setting out for groundworks, concrete bases, drainage, and associated civil works * Producing as-builts, QA documentation, and technical reports * Liaising with the site management team, subcontractors, and design teams * Ensuring works are delivered to spec, safely and within programme * Managing site surveys and interpreting technical drawings * Supporting HSEQ compliance across the site Requirements: * 2+ years’ experience in a Site Engineer role (Civils/Industrial preferred) * Strong setting out and surveying skills using Total Station / GPS (e.g., Leica, Trimble) * CSCS card (essential) * SMSTS/SSSTS or equivalent (preferred) * Experience working in live industrial or energy environments beneficial * Full UK driving licence and own equipment (if required) What You’ll Get: * Long-term work on a major UK infrastructure site * Competitive rates and consistent weekly payments * Opportunity to work with an experienced, supportive project team * Potential for ongoing work in the region after project completion * Immediate start available for the right candidate
