SEND Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting for an SEND Teaching Assistant to work in an inner-city Secondary school in East Leeds. This is a full-time placement and will be to start as soon as possible, with a potential to be made permanent. This Academy, based in is an environment where Teachers have carefully considered ways to help pupils express themselves in a fluent and articulate way. The school’s work to develop pupils’ oracy has been externally recognised. All pupils are encouraged to discuss topics, share their thoughts and contribute to the life of the school. Requirements: * Previous experience working with Children with SEND * Enhanced DBS certificate (we can help with this of not) * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Pro active and can work in a fast-paced environment * 2 x references (including your last employer) Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
