Warehouse Operative - Forklift Driver

Wolviston Management Services are proud to be supporting our client in the search for an experienced Warehouse Operative, with valid Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklift licences, to join their established team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in the safe and efficient movement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods—ensuring customer and supplier requirements are consistently met to the highest standards.   Key Responsibilities: Safely operate Reach Truck and Counterbalance FLT to store, pick and despatch materials Load and unload delivery vehicles in accordance with site safety procedures Accurately record goods received and issued using the warehouse management system Carry out stock movements within the warehouse and support efficient inventory control Prepare customer orders for despatch, maintaining quality and traceability standards Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to Line Manager or Team Leader Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the warehouse Support a safe and collaborative working environment by following all health & safety protocols Essential Requirements: Valid Reach Truck licence Valid Counterbalance FLT licence Previous experience working within a warehouse or goods-in/out environment Strong understanding of stock handling procedures and manual handling practices Ability to follow clear instructions and work effectively as part of a team Self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work Flexibility to support business needs, including potential overtime Basic IT literacy would be advantageous This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a well-established and growing business that values teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
