Nursery Manager - Up to GBP36,500 + GBP2,500 Welcome Bonus & Bonus Potential

Location: Woodberry Day Nursery, Peartree

Hours : 40 per week

Qualification: Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification

Base Salary : Up to GBP36,500 per annum

Additional Rewards:

• GBP2,500 Welcome Bonus (one-off, conditions apply)
• Up to GBP3,000 annual performance bonus

Total Reward Potential: In your first year, you could earn up to GBP42,000 including salary, welcome bonus and performance bonus.

Your Role as Nursery Manager

As Nursery Manager, you'll take ownership of the nursery and lead your team to deliver the very best outcomes for children and families. Your role will include:

• Leading with impact: Inspiring, supporting and motivating your team to deliver high standards of care and education every day.
• Driving quality: Ensuring the nursery consistently meets and exceeds EYFS standards, regulatory requirements and Ofsted expectations.
• Creating environments for success: Overseeing safe, stimulating and purposeful environments where children can learn through play and thrive at every stage.
• Building strong teams: Embedding an effective key person approach, identifying staff training needs and supporting professional development.
• Engaging families and communities: Building trusted relationships with parents, carers and the wider community to promote the nursery and its achievements.
• Managing operations : Overseeing budgets, records, staffing and compliance processes to ensure the nursery runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Promoting a culture of reflection and improvement: Encouraging self-evaluation across the team and embedding reflective practice to drive continuous improvement.
• Representing the nursery: Taking part in publications, events, marketing and other activities that promote the nursery's success and reputation.

What We're Looking For

• A Level 3 Childcare qualification (minimum)
• At least 1 year of management experience in an Early Years setting
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and regulatory frameworks
• A genuine passion for early childhood development and team leadership
• (Desirable) Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Leadership & Management
• (Desirable) Experience of achieving Good or Outstanding at Ofsted inspection
