Teaching Assistant - Aston, Birmingham Role: Teaching Assistant Location: Aston, Birmingham Start Date: September 2025 Salary: £90 - £110 per day Hours: Full time, 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday Contract: Temporary, ongoing The Role We are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming two-form entry Primary School in Aston. This is a full-time role, working across Reception through to Year 6, supporting both whole-class learning and small groups of children who may need additional help. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher, providing support in lessons and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Candidate Requirements To be considered for this role, you should have: A minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Strong knowledge of the Primary school curriculum Experience across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 At least 12 months' experience working within a school setting A caring, flexible and proactive approach to supporting children Safeguarding Level 1 training (or willingness to complete) An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) About the School This is a 'Good' OFSTED-rated school with a supportive and friendly team.
