Installation Engineer

Contek Recruitment are currently working with a specialist manufacturing company, located in Tamworth, who are looking for an experienced Installation Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the Role
Our client are seeking a time-served Installation Engineer with a strong background in the machine tool industry to join their growing team. The role involves the installation, commissioning, and servicing of mist extraction and coolant filtration solutions for CNC and other machine tool equipment. The ideal candidate will possess both mechanical and electrical skills, a proactive work ethic, and the ability to work independently or within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission mist extraction and coolant filtration systems at customer sites
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical issues
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth installation and service delivery
• Provide clear and accurate installation and service reports
• Maintain a professional and safety-conscious approach at all times
• Travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays
  

Key Requirements

• Time-served engineer with proven experience in the machine tool industry
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
• Comfortable working alone or as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving license (clean)
• Proficient in writing and submitting job reports
