Transport Refrigeration Engineer

Transport Refrigeration Engineer Bristol Salary: £38,000 (OTE £55,000 - £60,000) We are looking for a skilled Transport Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. The role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing transport refrigeration systems while ensuring reliability and customer satisfaction. Key Duties Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on refrigeration equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control fault Service units, including hydrocarbon and A2L systems Respond to breakdowns and perform routine servicing Maintain van stock to agreed levels Record equipment history and complete documentation Work to company, manufacturer, and compliance standards Build and maintain strong client relationships Follow Health & Safety and site procedureRequirements Minimum 3 years' experience in transport refrigeration (essential) NVQ Level 3 City & Guilds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (desirable) FGAS Refrigerant Handling - City & Guilds 2079 (desirable) Knowledge of compressor technologies and A2L systems Understanding of UK and international regulations IT literate (Word, Excel, Outlook); ERP/SAP experience Full UK driving licencePersonal Attributes Strong organisation and time management Clear written and verbal communication Self-motivated and reliable Able to work independently and as part of a team Professional and trustworthyIf you feel like you meet the above criteria & would like to be considered for the Transport Refrigeration Engineer position, please apply with your CV and contact Lauren at Prime Appointments for a confidential chat. #Tier1
