Night Warehouse Operations Manager Stoke-on-Trent Up to £50,000 Night Shift 20:30-06:00 | 25 Days Annual Leave We're looking for an experienced Night Warehouse Operations Manager to take charge of a busy cross-dock operation in Stoke. Leading a team of 8, you'll be responsible for driving performance, ensuring smooth running of Pallet Network and Groupage operations, and creating a culture of accountability and motivation. This is a hands-on role - around 70% of your time will be on the shop floor, with the remainder focused on planning, reporting, and process improvements. What you'll be doing: Leading, motivating, and developing a team of 8 night staff. Managing cross-dock operations, groupage and pallet network activity. Ensuring KPIs, service levels, and customer expectations are met. Implementing and embedding policies, procedures, and best practices. Driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Balancing operational oversight with reporting and process development (70% floor / 30% desk). What we're looking for: Proven experience managing cross-dock, pallet network and groupage operations. Strong experience working for a UK based warehouse Strong leadership skills - able to motivate, guide, and develop teams. Process-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Resilient, hands-on manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Confident in implementing and driving operational policies and procedures.
