National Account Manager Location: Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire (Hybrid Working) Salary: Competitive, plus Car Allowance & Bonus Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Nter Talent is proud to be partnering with a leading name in the foodservice industry to find an exceptional National Account Manager to join their high-performing sales team in Waltham Cross. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of small to medium-sized customer accounts, driving growth, strengthening relationships, and delivering outstanding service. The Opportunity: In this pivotal role, you’ll manage and develop existing customer relationships while identifying new opportunities to increase sales value and margin. You’ll play a key part in supporting clients across the foodservice sector — experience in education or healthcare would be a distinct advantage. What You’ll Be Doing: Achieving budgeted targets for sales, gross profit, and volume within your portfolio Spotting opportunities for margin growth and presenting clear, commercial plans to deliver them Keeping all customer records and reporting up to date and accurate Building strong, lasting relationships with key contacts across your accounts Working closely with Procurement, Development, Marketing, Operations and Finance teams to deliver best-in-class customer experiences Preparing and leading effective customer meetings, ensuring all follow-up actions are delivered promptly Supporting wider foodservice initiatives and acting as a trusted partner between the business and your clients About You: To succeed in this role, you’ll bring: Proven account management experience, ideally in the foodservice sector — with exposure to education or healthcare customers a plus Confident presentation skills and the ability to influence at all levels Strong multitasking and prioritisation abilities to manage multiple work streams effectively Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Excellent relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders Strong verbal and written communication in business English The Benefits: Competitive salary plus annual discretionary bonus Car allowance 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Annual pay reviews Group personal pension plan Healthcare cash plan Retail discount membership Free onsite parking Additional tailored benefits as you grow with the company If you’re a results-driven Account Manager ready to take the next step in your foodservice career, we’d love to hear from you.
