Estimator  Salary: £45k Location: Reading, Berkshire Hours: Monday–Friday, Full-Time Start Date: ASAP Type: Permanent Our market leading client is seeking a proactive Estimator to join the team at their offices in Reading. You will ideally come from a construction management or engineering background and have experience with delivering complex sales quotes effectively and efficiently.  Estimator Benefits: Competitive salary 24 days holiday + bank holidays  Pension scheme Free on-site parking Hybrid working Training and development opportunities Other fantastic benefits   Estimator Responsibilities: Responsible for calculating accurately the costing's of projects to enable the sales team to win and deliver projects on time and within budget Checking schedules of rates and approximating build costs Attend pre- budget meetings and site visits with setting costs Responsible for coordinating with the sales team on any new and upcoming projects  Reporting any concerns that may impact projected costs and time estimates Oversee hand over from bid to execution with other teams and stakeholders within the business Provide and manage all relevant documentation including quotes, presentations and data  Desirable Experience: Degree or sufficient experience in construction, civil engineering estimating Commercial awareness and good eye for detail Excellent organisational skills  Good communication and negotiating skills Flexibility to accept and manage change  Experience in commercial building projects and knowledge of construction methods and technologies Full UK Driving license   To apply, simply click the apply button.
