Job Title: Estimating Quantity Surveyor Location: East Midlands (Office-based with local travel) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent (Typically 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday) About the Company A long-established and highly regarded privately-owned construction group is seeking an enthusiastic Estimating Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. Role Overview The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors as part of an experienced team, handling a range of responsibilities related to pricing and commercial management. Key Responsibilities Pricing works ranging from £1,000 to £500,000 Liaising with subcontractors and obtaining competitive quotations Preparing pricing for labour, plant, materials, and subcontract packages Commercial management of projects once on site Pricing variations during live projects Preparing subcontract orders Completing CVR documents for larger projects and commercial sheets for smaller schemes Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in estimating and quantity surveying Ability to work collaboratively within a team Experience managing subcontractor payments and dealing with clients Full UK driving licence (site visits required within 50-mile radius) Benefits 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and additional leave at Christmas Company pension scheme Private health insurance (subject to qualifying period) Enhanced family-friendly policies (subject to qualifying period) Eye care voucher scheme Ongoing training and development opportunities
