CNC Machinist

CNC Miller/Turner Location: Exeter, UK Salary: £14.00 - £16.50 (dependent on experience) Hours: 39-hour week, Monday to Thursday, 11:30 - 21:45 (20% shift premium). Job Purpose: As a CNC Machine Setter Operator, you will play a key role in producing high-quality components to exact specifications. You'll be responsible for setting and maintaining CNC machines, ensuring product conformance, and supporting timely delivery to customers. Key Responsibilities: Manufacture and inspect components to meet production requirements. Set and operate CNC machines in line with defined processes. Ensure quality control and right-first-time production. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments. Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with health, safety, and environmental policies. Requirements: Positive team-oriented attitude and awareness of business goals. Eagerness to learn and grow within the role. Preferred qualifications include a core mechanical engineering background. Experience with FANUC control systems (will consider others) Familiarity with 5S/Lean manufacturing practices and aerospace industry standards is advantageous.
