The Role: Administrator Southend-on-Sea | up to £26,000 | Mon – Fri 9:00 – 5:00 We’re seeking a proactive and highly organised Administrator to join our clients dedicated team. You’ll be the first point of contact for partner organisations and local authorities, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience. From coordinating meetings and reviews to managing data and supporting training logistics, your contribution will help maintain high standards across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to management and the social work team Handle inbound calls and visitor enquiries with professionalism Manage applications from initial contact to panel approval Maintain accurate filing systems and archives Take minutes for meetings and panels, ensuring timely distribution Update electronic records and databases Create data reports and visual presentations for placements and referrals Order office supplies and process invoices Liaise with external agencies for venues, catering, and training bookings Coordinate reference checks, DBS applications, and other pre-approval documentation Support marketing efforts and respond to prospective carer enquiries Record and track placement referrals from local authorities Organise and disseminate documentation for annual household reviews Assist with inspections and monitoring reports Maintain health and safety standards and report concerns Support training coordination for carers, staff, and panel members Upload training records and attendance to internal systems Participate in ongoing training and development Perform other duties as required by management Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends Skills & Attributes Strong literacy and numeracy Excellent written and verbal communication High attention to detail and accuracy Calm and methodical under pressure Organised and able to prioritise tasks Team-oriented with a proactive mindset Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Confident in record keeping and data management Able to work independently and take initiative Additional Requirements Willingness to coordinate panels and meetings Flexibility across varied office functions Enhanced DBS clearance and registration with the DBS Update Service Commitment to working in a diverse and inclusive environment What’s in it for you?
