The Role - Behaviour Mentor We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a dedicated SEMH secondary school in Greenwich. In this role, you will support students aged 11–16 who face significant barriers to learning due to emotional regulation difficulties, trauma, or behavioural challenges. You will work closely with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, delivering targeted interventions that promote emotional wellbeing, positive behaviour, and engagement with learning. The ideal candidate will have experience in youth work, mentoring, or specialist education settings, and be confident in de-escalation strategies and trauma-informed approaches. Your ability to remain calm, consistent, and empathetic will be key in helping students build trust and make meaningful progress.
