SEN Teaching Assistant | E17, Walthm Forest | Long - Term Role: SEN Teaching Assistant Start: September 2025 Location: E17, Waltham Forest Contract: Full time Rate: £95-£110 per day Do you desire to work as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a school environment where your supporting fantastic pupils? Outstanding, Independent Secondary School based in North London, require a passionate, dedicated and skilled SEND Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a year 9 student who has cognitive and language difficulties. The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant: Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting. Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods. Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
