Practice Accountant Location: North West, UK Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Type: Full-time, Permanent An established and growing accountancy firm is seeking a Practice Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with solid practice experience to further develop their career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of year-end statutory accounts for a varied client base Preparation and submission of VAT returns and tax computations Production of management accounts and financial reports Dealing directly with client queries and building long-term relationships Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations Supervising or reviewing the work of junior staff (if applicable) Liaising with HMRC and external stakeholders where required Requirements: Previous experience working within an accountancy practice is essential ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience (QBE) Strong understanding of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines Strong communication skills with a proactive and client-focused approach Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for career progression within the firm Flexible and supportive working environment Ongoing training and development To apply, please submit your CV or contact Rhys at Service care Solutions on (phone number removed) or via email at (url removed) for a confidential discussion
