Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer required to join a leading mechanical engineering supplier in the North East of the UK. The successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts across for Industrial Engineering / MRO / Mechanical Power Transmission products such as bearings, seals, drives, motors, gearboxes, valves, lubrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other mechanical engineering products. The successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer will ideally have experience selling or managing key accounts of mechanical / industrial products such as mechanical power transmission, bearings, gearboxes, drives, motors, automation, couplings, belts, chains, sprockets or similar industrial engineering products. Full product training provided. Package £40,000 - £50,000 Bonus Company Car & Fuel Card 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Pension Phone & laptop Additional benefits  Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer Role Focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts across for Industrial Engineering / MRO / Mechanical Power Transmission products such as bearings, seals, drives, motors, gearboxes, valves, lubrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other mechanical engineering products. Maintaining industrial mechanical engineering product sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets. Work remotely / field based with regular visits to customer sites across the Northeast of the UK. Liaise with various engineering departments.  Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer Requirements Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within industrial mechanical engineering. Must have experience of face to face meetings and booking appointments to see customers on a weekly basis. Will ideally have experience selling or managing key accounts of mechanical / industrial products such as mechanical power transmission, bearings, gearboxes, drives, motors, automation, couplings, belts, chains, sprockets or similar industrial engineering products. Full product training provided. Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed, grow, and bring on new business within Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering markets. Full clean driving license. Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites throughout the Northeast of the UK
