SHEQ Advisor

A great opportunity for an experienced SHEQ Advisor to support and advise teams delivering works for a major water client. You’ll help ensure compliance with SHEQ policies and promote a positive health, safety, environmental and quality culture across projects. Responsibilities * Carry out regular risk assessments and recommend improvements * Provide specialist SHEQ advice to teams and subcontractors * Ensure contracts comply with legal and company SHEQ requirements * Coach, brief and motivate teams to embed safe and positive behaviours * Develop and deliver engaging training and briefings * Audit works, carry out root cause analysis, and support improvement plans Essential * Recognised environmental qualification * Strong understanding of environmental management requirements * Knowledge of CDM Regulations (Client, Principal Designer & Contractor roles) * Good interpersonal, coaching and influencing skills at all levels * UK driving licence Desirable * NEBOSH Certificate with relevant water/construction SHE experience * Membership of an environmental or engineering professional body (incorporated or chartered) * ISO 9001/14001/18001 formal auditor training Benefits * Competitive salary and benefits package * Immediate interviews for qualified candidates * Career development and progression opportunities within a growing company
