You can expect
We are currently recruiting a Principal Designer/CDM Advisor to join the growing team based in Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the CDM (Construction Design and Management) duties across a diverse range of projects. Regular travel will be required to offices and project sites throughout East Anglia, London, Oxford, and Nottingham.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both clients and project teams by providing expert advice on health and safety compliance and fulfilling CDM responsibilities across all service phases. They will coordinate health and safety measures throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective communication and documentation at every stage. This includes developing strategies for the efficient flow of H&S information, liaising with principal contractors and stakeholders to ensure that designs meet regulatory and practical safety standards, and advising clients on the feasibility of their project plans. The role also involves managing multiple projects for both internal and external clients, auditing, and reporting on CDM duties, and working collaboratively with the wider Practice H&S team to maintain consistent standards and performance across the organisation.
