Fabricator / Assembler

Fabricator – 6am to 2pm shift | £13.00–£16.00/hr | Permanent | Coleshill (near Birmingham) I’m recruiting for a great client in the Coleshill area who need to add experienced Fabricators to their production team. This is a brilliant opportunity to get stuck into a long-term project at the early stages, with a solid employer that values quality, safety, and development. What’s on offer: * £13.00 – £16.00 per hour, depending on experience * Permanent contract from day one (not temp) * Straight day shift: Monday to Thursday 6am–2pm, Friday 6am–1pm * Full-time hours (39/week) * Good clean working environment * A strong possibility of progression as the team expands What the job involves: * Reading detailed drawings and working from them to build modules * Assembling cable management systems onto prefabricated steel frames * Using tools to fix and secure products with precision and accuracy * Helping maintain a tidy and safe work environment * Being part of a close-knit team where quality and pride in your work matter What you’ll need: * Hands-on fabrication, fitting, or mechanical assembly experience * Ability to work from detailed drawings * Good communication and teamwork * Motivation to get stuck in and take pride in getting the job right first time This is a Monday to Friday day shift role with no shift allowance, but if the workload increases later, there might be an option for rotating shifts (6-2 / 2-10 with 22% uplift) — this would be discussed with you properly if it ever comes in. The role is based in Coleshill. You’ll need to be able to commute reliably for a 6am start.
