Nursery Nurse Contract Type: Full Time, Temporary Start Date: 03/09/2025 Location: Havering Salary: £85-£100 Hours of Work: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Term Time Only) Teach Now is thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and nurturing Nursery Nurse to join a welcoming and vibrant primary school in the heart of Havering. This four-form entry school, with a spacious 90-place nursery, is committed to creating a warm, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children—and you could be a key part of their Early Years team! About the Role: As a Nursery Nurse, you’ll support children in the Nursery and Reception classes both 1:1 and in small groups, working alongside dedicated teachers to deliver playful, interactive learning experiences. From phonics and early numeracy to encouraging curiosity and social development, your work will help shape their very first school memories. • Assist in planning and delivering creative, EYFS-aligned activities • Foster a safe, caring, and stimulating space for all learners • Support children’s personal care needs with dignity and empathy • Observe and record development milestones in line with the EYFS framework • Collaborate with teachers and parents to celebrate each child’s progress Who We’re Looking For: • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (or equivalent) • Previous experience in a nursery, preschool, or EYFS setting • A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to early childhood development • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and how to bring it to life • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one Why Join This School?
